GRADUATE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

I'm excited to share that we now have at McMaster a new area of study, "Theory, Religion, Politics," that links students to faculty across the university representing a range of Theory methodologies and traditions of philosophy/theology/thought. The TRP area allows students to build combined expertise in specific religious traditions (e.g., Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) and in a variety of theoretical/philosophical approaches, through seminars in the Departments of Religious Studies, English & Cultural Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, or Philosophy.

The next deadline to apply to the one-year MA, or two-year MA, or PhD programs at the Department of Religous Studies at McMaster will be in January 2027.
